Miniature bull terriers have a strong, sturdy, square proportioned body with a flat, sloping head and closely set small eyes. Submit an entry form but be sure to give yourself lots of time, as an entry that arrives late is often not accepted.
The night before the dog show is the best time to wash your miniature bull terrier because it give your dogs coat enough time to dry. Bathing your terrier too often removes essential natural oils that keep the dogs coat shiny and healthy so a bath before showing or when you bull terrier gets very dirty is sufficient. Always use a good, mild coat shampoo with conditioners on miniature bull terriers. For white terriers, there are special shampoos what keep them soft, bright, and shiny. Whiteners are available that remove stains on white coats. You need to keep your dog as well groomed as possible in order for him to have a chance at winning. Trim his nails, check and clean your dog’s teeth, and trim his whiskers and tail if needed. Give your terrier a good brushing and last minute check before heading for the show ring.
When traveling to a show, always take along a copy of your miniature bull terriers rabies and other dog vaccination records. Also bring your dogs favorite toy, normal treats and dog food, and be sure he always has fresh water available at all times.
