Many times when people get a dog, they are not aware of anything unusual about the dog. However, it does not take long to figure out some of the weird or interesting things about them.

There is not one breed of dog that doesn't have something weird or interesting about them. However, just because they do have something that is weird or interesting does not mean that there is anything wrong with it because there isn't. In fact, many people find that it is all the weird things that make the animal more appealing.

When it comes to the Kerry Blue Terrier, there are several different things that numerous people think are interesting or weird. In fact, one thing that many people think is weird or interesting is that when the Kerry Blue Terriers are puppies, they must have their ears pasted/glued in order for them to be in the proper place/shape. Not only are they pasted, but it is actually glued for up to a couple weeks and also possibly a couple of different times. When their ears get pasted, part of their ears and heads are shaved, and then the tip of the ear is glued to their heads by the eyes.

Another very interesting thing about the Kerry Blue Terrier is that they have a very high maintenance coat. But the looks of them, many people would assume that they have an ordinary coat; however, they do not. In fact, in order for them to have a nice coat they have to be brushed on a daily basis. If they are not groomed on a daily basis their coats will start matting, or getting knotted up; which would result in them being cut off.

Along with the Kerry Blue Terrier having a high maintenance coat, another interesting fact dealing with their coat is that they have all the "bangs" on their face for a purpose. In fact, all the hair that is covering their eyes is because they are prone to sticking their faces in holes or places they don't belong, and the hair is there to protect their eyes in case if there is an animal trying to scratch them. In fact, in many judging activities, the dogs are expected to retrieve a badger out of a hole; therefore they will need the hair to protect their eyes.

Many people also find that sparring the Kerry Blue Terrier in a show ring is very interesting. In fact, many people find that very mean and abusive; however, it all depends on who is watching. When the two dogs are sparring, they are simply trying to show who the better of the two is. Once the better one is shown, he will then go on to another; until there is only one chosen.

No matter how many weird or interesting things you find out about a specific breed of dog that you are interested in getting, this does not mean that you should not get it. In fact, that only shows that your dog will have more character. Interesting things are not always bad.
