I raise Standard Dachshunds on my farm in Vermont. My pups mature around 22-25 lbs. I raise both Wires and Smooth coats. I focus on temperament and correct conformation. I am not a kennel. All of my dogs live in my cabin in Vermont and the puppies are raised inside with other dogs, cats and an occasional lamb or baby goat. My dogs all go hiking daily off leash on our 37 acres of trails, They all eat out of the same bowls...no such thing as food aggression here! My Standard Dachshunds are calm, comical, and the best family dogs! I have only one or two litters a year.. The puppies are raised on natural high quality dog food and organic goats milk.
