However if your still really interested in a chocolate lab im downsizing my breeding program because of the long hours of work that will continue for the next few years. i have a year and a half old female who weighs about 55-60 lbs( very gentle and friendly girl) and a 3 year old male who has a very dark chocolate coat. I would say the male is favorable to an owner who likes the outdoors because he is very outgoing.
