I bought her last week and I was told by the people we got her from that she was great with children (and of course will not answer me now that I have been trying to contact her!) Unfortunately, she is not so great with babies. She is perfectly fine with my 5 year old son but my neighbor has a baby that crawls and this dog does not tolerate the baby very well. Unfortunately, I am due next month with my own daughter and I can't risk her acting like that with a baby that will be in our own home full time. She is great besides that. She knows basic commands, her name, she only barks if she feels like you need to be alerted of something (someone coming up to the house or knocking on the door), doesn't jump, and has never chewed anything in my house besides her bones and toy. She has also never had an accident in my house. She's great in the car but likes you to help her jump in. She won't get on furniture unless you call her up there. She has papers and I was given a few of her vet records that show all the shots and that she is fixed. They didn't have a few of the records but you could easily call the vet and have them transferred to yours. This breaks my heart. If I wasn't having a baby next month it'd be a different story. I really do not want to take her to a shelter, she does not belong in a shelter, she just belongs with a family that doesn't have a baby around. If you are interested please contact me, the re-homing fee is just what I paid for her, I do not want to make money off of her, just simply re-home her with a family that will work better for her.
