11.08.09 New litter has arrived!! Maggie has 4 boys and 4 girls, and they will be ready for new homes Jan 1. All puppies come with AKC limited registration, health record, and 1 yr written health guarantee for heart, liver, and kidney. They are current on shots for age, dewclaws removed, & vet checked before leaving. All puppies come with collar, leash, toy, and small packet of puppy food. We also have 2 older males and a 4 month old female for sale (price negotiable on these three). Please contact us for more information on them.
Price: $700 for Maggie's puppies. $100 non-refundable deposit required to reserve a puppy, with balance due before shipping or at pickup. We cannot ship puppies before 8 weeks of age and 9-10 weeks is even better. We accept check, money order, and PayPal (please add 3% for PayPal).
References available. We have been raising Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers for over 18 years. We have a small kennel, are retired, and puppies receive lots of care and attention.
Shipping from Des Moines airport is $250-$350 depending on the airline and destination. If temperatures restrict us from shipping out of Des Moines, we must drive to Kansas City (7 hour round trip) and ship on Continental Airlines. A $100 additional fee will apply if shipped from KC. Shipping fee covers airfare, new carrier, health certificate for shipping, and transportation to airport. We cannot ship out of Des Moines if temperatures are above 85 degrees or below 20 degrees, but we will do our best to get your puppy to you as soon as possible, weather permitting. You may also pick up your puppy at our home, or we can possibly meet you part way, if within a reasonable driving distance and $50 delivery fee. We are located 35 miles South of Des Moines, Iowa. We meet customers from the Chicago area at Tiffin, Ia., and we are 4-5 hours from the Twin Cities.
Soft Coated Wheatens are a non-shedding breed, highly intelligent, eager to please, and full of energy. They range in size from 30 to 40 lbs, females being on the lower end. They make wonderful family pets, and love to be around people. Great for people with allergies. Good with children and other pets. A good brushing a few times per week will keep their coats from matting, or you can go with a puppy-cut for lower grooming maintenance.
