--I KNOW having a pet is about responsibility...I am NOT a moron, I have owned my cat for 13 years, and my dog for 8. I know how to care for an animal. We're doing something right, they're not dead. --I am studying to be a vet technician/assistant....so yeah, they're happy. woo hoo for me --AND, I never said we didn't have the money for vet care. Thank you and Have a nice day. =)
That is the problem sometimes with forums, emails and all together the internet, the person typing has no inflection you can't tell their tone of voice at all. I think you are reading too much into it. I went back and read it, it sounded as though she was giving some good advice, I think maybe it just came off wrong because you were already in defense mode. I'm sure she wasn't trying to be critical.
Yeah, well the way she was typing it made it sound like she was typing to a child. ha! I'm 18, definitely nowhere near a child. It's not that big of a deal, I was just making it very clear that I know what I'm going. =) My Golden Retriever, Joe! http://www.dogster.com/?82157 My black tabby, Miss Kitty! http://www.catster.com/?82167
I just read the post. Her post did seem like it had alittle bit of sarcasm, but I wouldn't let it get to you. I don't think she was trying to be mean or anything. Sometimes I type or say things that come off wrong. Everyone does. That's probably what happened in her post. In internet forums, or any situation where people are giving advice, you kind of have to take comments with a grain of salt. You kind of have to take/learn what you can from the ones you agree with, and the ones that you don't, just ignore. That's what I try to do.
