I think Beagles RULE!!! I have one named Floyd, and he is one obedient dog!!! What do YOU think about Beagles?!

I love my beagle!!!! I do think they need to be understood though, they are a hound so if they get a scent it is instinct to track it. So they will run and run after that scent, you can call and yell, click, clap your hands you will not be able to break that tracking instinct. Also I found from my own dog that socializing is crucial, they are sensitive souls these dogs and can be shy so they need that socializing. Also they can be stubborn but are really food motivated so that helps. Do not expect a guard dog but a watchdog, very loyal and protective. Who wouldn't love those silky leathers and soulful eyes!!!!

My entire family is totally in love with our beautiful beagle who we named Holly. We can't imagine life without her. We randomly bought a beagle not knowing what their personalities were like but we would never go with any other breed after having her! BEAGLES DO RULE BARNONE!!!!

I am head over heels in love with my Beagle. She is a year old and entirely misunderstood by anyone that doesn't know her. She is the highlight of my day, all day!

I love beagles they are asowme I have one and its cool also they are hunting dogs they are so cute beagles rule !!!!!!

If some one could help me please, my female beagle has an appointment next week to be fixed, she has had one litter, which was not expected. But they are great dogs, so we found good homes for them all. The dad is a tri colored and mom is a lemon color. Anyway, I found them together this morning. Before the Vet spays her, if I ask, will they do a pregnancy test, and if she is pregnant, I am sure they will not do it. How long after the pups are weaned can she be fixed?

If she is pregnant, the vet can abort the litter, and spay her. Just because she is pregnant, does not mean she cannot be spayed

depending on when the tie was, they may not be able to tell if she is pregnant or not. I would just go ahead with the spay and get it done. Unless the tie was over a month or so ago, there is not much you can do as far as testing, to the best of knowledge.

At only one week since the breeding, they will not be able to tell if she is pregnant or not. You can go ahead with the spay with no complications.
