Thanks everyone. Jawlaw I am in Corpus Christi. We're a big Aggie family. She is going to be studying Education with specialties in math and/or science as well as gifted and talented. She then hopes to get her masters while she's teaching and ultimate goal is to become a high school counselor. I am so excited. Now comes the fun part. Filling out all the applications for scholarships. There are a lot of scholarships for teachers and even more if you get a specialty in math or science since they are so short handed in those subjects. Thanks again.
Wooowooo! Those people are very nice who work there. My cousin was a pitcher for OU Sooners (he got drafted to the Texas Rangers) and he got hit in the neck with a 95 mph fastball that came back at him. It was at Texas A&M & they providied EXCELLENT care, and were all sooo nice! The only Texas team I ain't fond of is the LONGHORNS!!! *Makes upside down Longhorn sign with fingers* ---Allie the Chihuahua http://www.dogster.com/?41063 ---Mönica the Kitty http://www.catster.com/?57596

I have a friend that graduated from A&M. So did her husband. Her 11 year old knows that is where he is going. My son has a UT Longhorns bedroom. My friend's son really and truly hates to go in there!! They are die hards.... My brother is a diehard UT fan. He seriously hates anything to do with A&M. It is ridiculous. My son likes UT, but he admits A&M is a good school... and if he is blessed enough to get a scholarship there, he would want to go. However, he is very social and I can see him going to a small private Christian College in Texas so he can be with most of his friends... That is usually where a majority of the ones that graduate from his school go.
God that was a horrible game. So sad. Isn't it funny how there is such a HUGE rivalry. My best friend's husband is a die hard Longhorn fan. I used to tell him he had to take his cap off before he could come in my house (I was j/k) Then I would wear my A&M shirt to their house. What he was going to tell me to take it off? I don't think so. We used to torture each other. Probably still would but they moved to Albuquerque and so we don't see them as much. When their last baby was born I sent a big box of A&M bibs, onsies, you name it. Even a baby bottle.
