Ok, I promise this all has a logical explanation, well kind of... Today i went to the North American Livestock Show that is held in our state each year. I love it and go every year. (Sorry everybody this post doesn't have much to do with dogs!) they always have some of the neatest animals up there. I completely fell in love with this little yellow goat there, I played with it like all day i so wanted to take it home, it was so sweet! Then another thing I was really mad because every year they have this really really cool Border Collie exhibition, and the dogs herd ducks althrough mazes, tunnels, and chutes, then the dogs load them up in this little trailer that is hook to one of those Power wheels cars for toddlers and the BC's get in it and drive around with their ducks in the trailer. It is the funniest thing ever, but I didn't get to see the act this year and it is like a tradition! Anyway I kind of missed it you know! Then I got to do something REALLY strange. I got to sit on a GIANT longhorn steer named Sancho. His horns alone were probably 8 feet long! He was so cute not to mention one huge bovine! He had a saddle and halter and everything. I though it was so cool that I got to sit on him for a minute!
the border collie show sounds fantastic. too bad you missed it this year. do they hold auctions for the livestock at this show ? we have a yearly county fair where you can see all sorts of livestock , goats, ducks etc. the only cool thing to watch is robinsons racing pigs. they are just soooo adorable as they race around and swim .
