Hello, I'm getting a Chocolate Labrador Retriever puppy at the end of November. I'm naming him Buddy after Clinton's Chocolate Lab that was hit and killed by a car. Buddy is championed lined and is show quality. He will be 10 weeks old when I have him shipped from Spain. I am so excited! I've had Labs for a long time, but now I've decided to show and possibly breed. Here is Buddy: http://www.dogster.com/?87810
A beautful pup but I don't understand why you would put the dog through such an ordeal. Even domestic shipping is hard on a dog yet alone a puppy coming all the way from Europe? I myself took my Golden Retriever with me when I moved from Germany to Canada and it was a horrible trauma for the dog. The end result being the dog lost his hair and it took him a long time to recover. I love animals and I would not put an animal through such a trip again. There are beautiful show dogs within North America!
He is really cute, you know that you won't be able to tell if he will "show" well for at least 6 months... but I wish you and Buddy a great new start!! I am also curious about coming from Spain?? What if you need to get in touch with the breeder on a regular basis for something?? How did you find him??
