I work at a Doggy Daycare and we occasionly foster dogs that need a home. And Yes, already i've fallen in love. I have one dog already, a mutt named Buddy, (hence the name) and this dogs name is Moe he looks just like Buddy and he even has the same story. Ariel is actually my daughter's chi, but she doesn't know it. (Ariel doesn't know it) and my daughter gets her feelings hurt. How come she doesn't want to come to me???? Well, maybe because I spend all day with her. lol

Get on your knees and beg. And then start to cry if that doesn't work. If that doesn't work, see if they will let you bring him home for just one day, and stress the one day part. And if you think he is really a sweet dog then it should only take one day for them to fall in love. Both methods have worked for our family. Good luck
Oh my, oh my, the dog wanting disease per say? Aha, that's exactly how I felt when I first saw my sweet little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel peeking through the metal bars of her cage before I fiiiiiinally managed to purchase. The little dog whom I hold in my arms this very moment. ^^ The sweetest dog you can find. Anyways, what I did was I ran to my dad (my mom dislikes dogs) and told him I just loved that fine little dog more than any dog I've ever seen and it would mean lots to me if I ever was the owner of her. First of all, my dad insepected the little gal and then used some sarcastic words that made me upset. (He always goes on mom's side.) I explained to him I was old enough to care for her and I definitley had the right experiences, because I used to walk other people's dogs. He agreed with that, but then we started talking about are cats. Then there was a small problem. But we figured if my kitty could live with my aunt's dog for a while it might work, and I explained why. We agreed and literally snuck the dog into our house without my mom knowing and then later on my dad explained the deal. I was the happiest girl ever. I soon became best friends wiht my pooch and my mom gave it up and now were a big, cat & dog loving family. THE END lol ^^
i would just go to them and show them that your ready for a dog. do research and make sure you know how to care for it properly. let your parents know that you'll help pay, and that you'll care for him. make a list of why you want him. and if all else fails...try crying...worked for me, thats how i got sandy! best of luck!
Are you allowed to take your dog to daycare with you? Have Buddy and Moe already met? If not, you could introduce the two. You'll have a stronger argument if the two dogs are already friends because your parents won't have to worry about how the dogs will react to each other.
Thanks again and no Buddy and Moe haven't met yet but i'm workin on it! my mom alreday loves him tho i guess she just needs to love the idea too! HA well please keep on sending suggestions so far a favorite is crying... and a am a total Drama Queen so i guess i could give it a try anyway thanks again!
