My brother called me when I was out with Matt, his dad and friend and said he was trying to get his friend/neighbors dog to get out of the road because a car missee him by an inch and he ran right into a truck and was thrown off of the road. He got up and is okay, but Tyler said one of the boys (theres 3) said "That'll teach him a lesson!" I'm so mad. Mom even said today he'll not be alive very much longer. I want to type something out and make a list of what a responsible owner is and leave it in their mailboxes and not say who it is. Oh and this dog is a solid black pitbull/lab mix and he's so sweet. He's better off being given to someone who cares about him. Sorry, I jsut had to vent.
they don't know anything about dog ownership. stupid losers. You guys, should I type something out about what a responsuble owner is and put it in their mailbox when I go for a walk? I need some ideas if so because I really don't want to see him die. I would like to help prevent it
Jeez, Heff...are we neighbors??? My irresponsible neighbors(who I just vented about in your other thread), also have an all black pit/lab mix that they let run loose....I just KNOW he's going to run out in the road and get hit one of these days...
this is our neighbors second dog, smooshie and the first was hit by a car also, because, you guessed it, he was allowed to run loose. My other neighbros second dog in 5 years died in September from running loose. won't these morons ever learn???
I hate to say it but...probably not. I have spoken to my neighbors 3 times about letting their dog run free.
a) the dog is going to either get hit by a car or get into something dangerous (people around here put rat poison out to get rid of the 'critters')
b) Its a pain in the a** for everyone else in the neighborhood because we're all picking up after it, chasing out of our yards and dealing with it jumping all over our kids when they go outside.....its frustrating.
