I bought the dogs their first greenies. They are going ape. I have never seen them get so excited. I had to separate everybody. Ariel kept putting hers down to go see what Bailey had. Bailey was hiding under my desk. Then Rusty would take Ariel's. Lady got up to see what was going on and I turned around and Rusty had hers too! So, Ariel's in the bedroom with my daughter, Bailey is hiding in her crate (with the door open) Rusty is in the living room and Lady is out here in my study and they are all going to town. Thank you everybody for telling me about these things. I hope the really help Rusty's chronic dog breath! :)
i have yet to meet a dog that doesn't like them. i don't buy them for my guys because it takes them about 10 minutes to eat them up and they are too expensive to give on a daily basis. or even weekly for me.
They were definately expensive and won't be an everyday thing, just and occasional treat. I will have to really keep an eye on Lady. I was just watching her and it's funny the way she eats anything. With her mouth being so long she has to chew way near the back of her throat. It always makes me nervous. Rusty is already done with his and Lady just finished too. I guess I'd better go check on the others.
Lol...yeah Esi loves them. They're about the only treat I give her just b/c she's so picky about other treats...greenies are the only things I can expect her to eat! My college roommate's dog used to eat about 3-4 a day...until we discovered that he was getting into the bag...
my dog sometimes swallows milkbones (the medium sized ones) when he gets so excited. I always tell him "NO!" and to be easy and he's just fine. I have these dog treats that have parsley and stuff in them and they're GREAT for nasty dog breath. I think the brand is "Pedigree"
You guys have scared me away from these!! lol I know she will love them, but like Shinyblackpit said, they need to make them bigger! She like the mint dentabone thingy I think its from Booda...but she will even finish thier largest size in a few days. Maybe santa will bring her first greenie.
