Gina I think that is from the flash of the camera. I may be wrong but that is what it looks like to me. And the puppy is only 8 weeks so maybe his eyes are alittle blue still. I am just guessing here..lol

Oh! That's not healthy to have eyes like that. It's common in small breed dogs like chihuahuas or other smaller breeds that were the runt of the litter. It's a characteristic of Hydrocephalus. A dog with hydrocephalus (a.k.a. water on the brain) may have an unusually large head for his size caused by swelling. Other signs of this condition are frequent falling, seizures, a lot of white showing in the eyes, an unsteady gait, and east-west eyes (the opposite of crossed eyes). Usually dogs with this condition don't live very long. (I got this information from dummies: chihuahua health) Just because he has east-west eyes doesn't automatically mean he has the condition, but it is one of the signs, so people who buy dogs like that should be aware.
