Hmmm have you changed foods so that maybe his food is more salty and making him thirsty?Is he urinating more often? Or any new medications? Missy takes potassium bromide that makes her very thirsty and also urinate OFTEN.
Shinyblack I think you were correct.I was feeding him several of his snacks daily,when I got him he was under weight so I was trying to fatten him up . Since I've cut back on doing that it has stopped . Thanks much @--->--
Aisha, she does. But with no other symptoms, it would not be my first guess about his/her dog. Even in Missy, when she's about to have a seizure, I think it could still be associated with thirst... When she has one, it affects the levels of certain things in her body.. Urine smells different, etc., so I suspect that some of those changes might make her thirsty and dry-mouthed immediately before a seizure.
Glad it's gotten better! Now to find some less salty treats to keep him fattened up! :-)
