Well the first dog of course is a black shepherd. The next one is a Corso with out its ears cropped and the third is a Corso named "Curly" and he is the tougest of them all. I read the interview clips on the page and they said he is so powerful and strong. I see alot of people working Corso's now in Schultzhund. Not my cup of tea though. I much prefer a sweet and loving couch potato.
Mizzi as I watched that I wobdered how many people are going to think it is one of those awful pit bulls. I wasn't impressed with the whold concept, but I am out of my league here just like breeding bull dogs last night.
If it weren't for Mizz pointing out what type of dog it is...I would have assumed that it was a pit..only because it resembles one so much and until the other day, I had never heard of cane corso before. Except of course the first dog...that is obvious...the 2nd dog is gorgeous! I love the floppy ears and the 3rd looks like Donata! lol
I would love to just post on my dogs....I am not a Pit Bull I don't have a tail!!! I told bf from now on we are going to take Ruby with us so people will see her and know the difference. Yesterday someone said "oh that is a interesting mix". It is funny
I remember when you and zookeeper were talking about "Cane Corso" and I kept saying..who is that, who is that...thinking it was some sort of famous person that I didn't know. Is it a rare breed? Or am I just dumb!
I am watching it and if some dogs weren't trained that way then we wouldn't have dog officer's protecting our military and law enforcement officers. It is not my thing but I think it is awesome that Corso are a "true" working dog. To date we have 4 Corso on different police departments.
I understand the fact that some dogs are trained this way and it has to be done but like this one poor girl is terrified of dogs to begin with, and now this. This sure isn't going to make her like dogs any better. Oh well, I guess thats why they call it Fear Factor.
Thanks alot for directing my attention to the Cane Corso breed. I knew it had to be somewhat rare and that is why I came to this site to find some more info. I used to own a Presa Canario and it is so very true how misunderstood or how many times folks confuse them for Pits. I just watched the episode and "Curly" is something else!!
