I Dont Care About Price. As Long AS It Takes Greeat Pictures
I have to agree. I have a canon powershot and it's great. So easy to use. My only suggestion is no matter what brand you buy, get one that uses lithium ion batteries. I had 3 cameras that used "AA" before I got my canon, and trust me it makes a BIG difference.
Hey I'm no great photographer but look at moco's page where he's in the pool. You can see the drops of water. That'll always be my favorite pic of him, or the druken chihuahua. Close second.
To me, definitely. I just bought my bf a new fancy shmancy "top of the line" Sony Cybershot that uses the rechargeable "AA". His camera died after 10 pics. My lithium ion last for days between many many shots. I got the batteries cheap too off of ebay. It depends I guess on how often you use it. He barely does so it works for him.
I've bought a LOT of digicams these past years (work and personal) and though I've occasionally strayed to other brands, I ALWAYS go back to Canon. They consistantly produce digital cameras that anyone from a novice to an enthusiast to a professional can appreciate. (Don't get me started on their cruddy printers, though... ;)
I have the Sony Cybershot 5.1 megapixels. I LOVE it. It is very pricey, around 400 I think? But it is a wonderful camera and it also takes videos with sound. I carry it around with me all day. Between the 2 babies and 6 dogs I have lots of picture taking and videos to do!

I almost bought the small portable printer, but I figured for the pics that I would be actually printing I'd take it to one of those digital picture printing kiosk type things. Walmart, Target, and Walgreens have them. Plus more stores I'm sure. They're not expensive at all. Check this one out too, a professional photographer friend of mine recommended this to me.
