Wendy and Scout, you two were dorks! (like most of us that grew up in the 70-80's) I supposed you tried the Pat Benetar look also? Or maybe Stevie Nicks? Journey was my first concert. Billy Joel was my last. It's been a while. Oh yeah, my son and I saw Peter Frampton at a Fair. He's now bald, but he can still play. I would love to see Yanni, Dave Matthews, Jethro Tull (Ian Anderson) and Linkin Park. I love their Re-Animation CD. My new favorite song is "Remember When" by Alan Jackson. I don't like country, but that song gives me the chills.
ltlgto i had the pat benatar headband. it feels like that was a million years ago. when i was in elementary school, the most popular haircut was a dorothy hamill. i think every girl i knew wanted to be just like her.
i dont think i ever heard that remember when song. but i am really bad with titles and artists. you should hear me at the music stores. i alays have to sing a line or two so the clerks know what song i want. and trust me....you do not want to hear me sing !!!
First Scout...I am very surprised that your DS likes and listens to 80's music! He needs to rub off on my DD! They have those mixed Cd's out..like hot songs from the 80's, or a mixed cd of top hits from the 80's. Anytime I ever buy CD's for DD, I get them from Walmart...Walmart only sells clean CD's...no cursing, nothing. As a matter of fact, DH was pretty Pissed off when he bought a CD from there (he listens to rap) and every other word was bleeped out! Haha..and you can't return CD's.
Hector...I listen to hip hop, R&B and rap as well..but I have a fairly clean mouth...actually I have a really clean mouth...I think my mouth is more foul when I come to TP than anything else.
My favorite is Delilah (sp) anyone know who that is..the best music of the 80's 90's and today! Love it! And of course...K-Love..Christian music :o)

Dorothy Hamill and the Hamill Camel. Ah...I remember it well. She was a cutie. You wouldn't probably hear "Remember When" unless you listen to country music. Our groomer plays it at her shop a lot and that is where I first heard it. I've even thought of naming a dog Kandyland's Remember When with a call name of AJ. Corny huh? Then again I want to stick with the Rat Pack after our Sammy. Maybe Kandyland's Old Blue Eyes call name Frankie or Kandyland's That's Amore call name Dino. I can't remember the name of the fourth person in the rat pack. He was an actor. It may have been Peter Lawford. Oh well, I'm ramblin'.
