What's goin on? I just had a litter of pups that are 1 week old today, and then I had a litter yesturday via C-Section! They are all so cute, 13 in all! 6 S&P, 1 Black, 4 B&S, and 2 tan, which I don't think are schnauzer! :(
She had got out. A black Cocker Spaniel had dug under our fence and she got out, I found her the next, (I went a little crazy), anyway I got her home and she stays with Wolfie (one of my males) when she's not in heat and I'm not home....they get along. WEll, she wasn't schedule to come in heat till Jan. and the next day got home, and what do ya know....they were hooked up! So, I am not really sure if they are or not, I am going to get them all DNA'd, if they start look a little different. The 2 tan ones are huge. Most schnauzer pups born (that i've had were 7-8 ounces in weight) these were 10. Big pups for a mini schnauzer. She had to have a C-Section!
i have just recently become a huge fan of Schnauzers. i have seen two that i've absolutly fallen in love with, a female schnauzer/yorkie cross, and a male schnauzer/poodle cross. they're both so adaorale, and look mostly schnauzer. i wish my mom would allow me another puppy, beause i'd take the female in a second!
I have to get DNA done on Mom, Dad of the pure ones, and all the puppies. which takes a while...or I can just wait until they get older, but I would rather know for certain. Which I will probably be selling this litter for only an adoption fee and contract saying they will have the pup fixed, just because of the whole ordeal. (my blood pressure has been so high!) If I get them DNA'd I can register them. It will be $40 a dog, plus the C-Section was $400. Plus the food and vitamins, I have been giving her! I am so glad this is a hobby I absolutly love!
