Well I have babies. 2 males 2 females. 1 male is a very dark tabby and the other male is a cream like mom. 1 female is a tortishell and the other female is a cream. All seem to be doing well and everyone is nursing. Sushi did great but only consumed one of the placenta's. She had no interested in the others. She decided to have them under my bathroom sink. I tried to move her and and kitten into a nice big box with towels and a heating pad but she moved all of them back. So I just put the towels and heating pad under there. I will post pics as soon as they look like kittens and not little rats. Eggroll should be having her's anytime. I will keep you updated.
Just a short message to ask that you watch with the heating pad, make sure they have the option to be on it or not. I got a lecture the other day from my vet about the pads being too hot and causing the babies who aren't really taking in a lot of fluid (the colostrum is fairly thick and concentrated) to dehydrate.
As it turns out I only keep one corner of the whelping box warm with a pad, (simply good luck not wisdom, if something works I tend to repeat it).
Good luck with the kids!

yay !!!!! hows mommy and kitties doing today ? glad that mom didnt have any problems. sounds like they are going to be real pretty. dont worry about the placenta's all not being eaten. i have heard that in dogs if they eat them all it can cause really nasty diarrhea.
Hey guys.....everyone is fine this morning. I only have the heating pad on one side and it is on low so I don't think it is going to be a problem. (I hope). All the babies are adorable. All of the them have long hair. The one tortishell is actually like a blue merle with orange on her. She is soooooo cute. Oh and Cricket you can have as many as you want. I have another litter coming remember. So right now I have a total of 8 cats and with another litter on the way it is a bit over whelming.
Awww! Congrats on your kittens. I love cats. I have 3 myself. I have 2 males that live outside (one doesn't use the litterbox and the other was a stray I adopted so he's never been inside). I have a female that is absolutely gorgeous that I keep inside. I rescued her from the animal shelter and she looks like a Smoke Persian. She's one 1st place in our local Pet Show for the last 3 years. I would have more cats but hubby would strangle me! I would love to have a Himalayan or something with siamese in it. Love the blue eyes! Those Ragdoll cats are awesome too.
Just curious, do you live on a farm or something? I only ask because that is alot of kitties to be having. All of my cats are fixed. There are too many around where I live and in the shelters. My mom though doesn't fix any of hers because as she puts it "if I did fix them, in Five years I'd have no cats because of the coyotes." So basically my mom is supplying the coyotes with food. I was just curious.
AWWWWWWWWWW can I have one I already have two cats that are so friendly they keep bringing the neighbours kittens into our house because my friend laura has a birman that has had four kittens and my cats keep adopting them and bringing them to our house in there mouths. what breed do you have? how much are they? and where do you live because I live in england.
