My 3 years labrador started vomiting or throwing his food ( Breakfast and main meal from yesterday ) I found small blood clots ( like small grains as rice size solid blood clots) on his vomits.
His stool been detected as black or blackish brown with tint of red jelly type ( not solid) twice in three days. Not enough as regular.
On contacting the vet who also have attended him at my home for this and have confirmed not so serious but may be some toxic reaction or worms.
Johnty my Lab been advised COMPOUND SODIUM LACTATE 500 ML X TWICE WITH SOME ANTACID, He is bit better than yesterday and recovering slowly.
I found no blood in his todays throwing ( once in the morning) I need help from the exparts what could be the cause of bleeding and this vomiting and the black stool. Is it worms and severe stage of works attack ? Please help me . with your advise.

Have you recently changed his food? I would still bring the dog in to get blood work done. See how it goes today and tomorrow and wait till monday if you can. If the regular vet is open today then ask if they can see him. The only problem is as usual is that it is the weekend and if it gets worse an emergency vet is your only other option and that gets expensive.
Thanks for your quick reply. Very Important question for the Blood work, I already have done this before his Vet advised, in fact Lipid profile has been done and found normal.
LFT , SGPT , SGOT, Blood Glucose PP all are normal. If I get chance to collect his vomits and stool, will send to the lab for test of worms and any other abnormalities. You are right , week-end might have problem to get the vet , I already have discussed with his Vet who confirmed to attend in Emergency. Wish me good luck not to face such situation.
I hope its nothing serious. I am not to bright with all the different types of bloodwork but collecting stool samples souds like the right route to take. If you are patient there are a couple of vet tech's that come on this forum who may be able to help you more then I ever could.
I hope all works out okay.
Things like this always happen on weekends. Just like kids. lol.
