Oscar got a clean bill of health. When they took him to get weighed the lady came back and said that he weighed 120. I laughed my butt off and told her that he weighed more. And she said that he was moving a lot. But I went back there and we got him to sit still and he weighed 152. How can someone weigh a dog that looks like he weighs 160 and come back saying that he weighs 120 and that she couldn't get him to sit still? Don't you think she would have weighed again with someones help? Sometimes I feel like you can't trust people at the vets office. He got all his shots and some ear cleaner. He is going to hate me for life when we do his ears. Just thought I would tell everyone that he is healthy.
The dog's record at my vet's has an entry under "Weight History" of 102.8. My dog is a standard poodle and she weighs about 43lbs. I asked them about it. Turns out they accidentally keyed the temperature in the weight field. 102lbs for a standard poodle! That's GOT to be a record! :-)
I had a harlequin dane that was 173# and not a drop of fat on him. The only problem was he thought he was a minature poodle!! One of my collies I have now comes in at 112#....He is just way oversized. I always go with to weigh them to make sure its right.
