My dog is a petstore puppy (yeah I know, she was bought before I researched dogs, and my roomate bought her, not me)..
Our puppy was bought and returned after a week because she was chewy, and didn't act like their other dog (that they put to sleep the day before they bought our dog).. Wow, of course a 2.5 month old puppy will act just like your 10 year old dog.. people suck. :(
Thats really sad. Reminds me of the advertisement on tv where the little boy gets the puppy for his birthday and after the new wares off and they are tired of him, the poor little guy ends up in a shelter. It shows him wagging his tail and sitting alone and they are walking off and leaving him. Sometimes it makes you wonder where these people were when the brains were passed out.
yeah it's sad, but how cool that the shelter took him back and know what a doofus the previous owner was(although, that said, why did he go there in the first place?). anyway, the good thing is that he is getting a second chance, he is totally adorable, and something tells me the shelter might be a bit more cautious about his next home. good luck to that little pup!
You know, people can be very stupid. I read all the sad stories about people abusing their dogs and I'm thinking why do these people do these things to their dogs? If their puppy does something that comes naturally to dogs (like chewing for instance) people just chuck them in the pound! They treat them like toys, if they don't like the dog they got they just chuck it and get a new one! It makes me so sad *sniff*.
