I have a 9 month old cat named Quinn the sweetest cat in the world. He loves to sleep with whatever kid is just laying around, he has never scratched them, btu hes also been around all 7 kids since birth. But a few weeks ago I had him fixed and they had to go in through his belly to find one of his testicles and now he pees on everyones blankets on thier beds. I dont know what to do with him, his liter box is cleaned everyday, I have 3 adult cats so I make sure its clean, anyoen have any ideas?
Ummmm not sure. I know my mothers female cat would go outside the litter box if not cleaned right that moment lol. It would drive her nuts.
I would consider taking him back to the vet to see if it is medical and in the meantime I would not allow him to sleep with the kids. Does he do this without even realizing? I am just wondering if it could be some sort of blatter infection or if the surgery caused this as they may have touched something in the process that should not of been touched?
Try Cat Attract cat sand. This close to being neutered I'd say for sure get him checked by a vet to see if he's having problems because of that. Otherwise, watch him and try to keep him away from anything that he likes to pee on, clean everything thouroughly. Very important, make sure if you switch his sand to do it SLOWLY (the same as you would with food) and NEVER move the sandbox. Cats don't handle that change well, they are very particular. Make sure, though, that the box is somewhere he can get to easily and that it's not in a high traffic area. And clean it very often.
