Okay, I may not agree with a lot of what you post- but I do sympathize with your vision trouble (I'm legally blind without contacts).
And as the person who made the (I'll admit) *rude* comment about your spelling and grammar, I do apologize. Regardless of how I feel about you and your opinions- that just wasn't nice. I'm sorry.
Anyhow, this forum uses an irritatingly small font! You can, of course- enlarge the font a bit with Internet Explorer's view-> text size settings. But as a computer geek, I have to say- Internet Explorer SUCKS.
You might want to take a look at the Opera browser. It's a free internet browser that's just full of tools that IE lacks- including a ZOOM feature that enlarges screens up to 1000%! It makes typing and reading these tiny-type forums MUCH easier.
And although the free version of the browser DOES have a small banner ad at the top, even *I* (who HATES banner ads with a passion) don't mind it. The browser is SO much faster and safer than IE, anyway.
JUST a suggestion that I thought could help make things easier for you.
And no matter what else I find fault with- I promise that I will cut you a break on the spelling and grammar.
kudos to you longdogs, for putting your differences aside and reaching out to a fellow member. i cannot praise you enough, and i admire you immensely for it. next time someone comes on complaining about the bickering, we will have this to reference. thank you!
Thank you I have to admit it did cut me to the quick. you would think I would be used to it by now but honestly just because I am a grown woman does not mean my feelings do not get hurt. I have a lot of respect for you for posting this and definatly accept your apology.
I don't have a problem with any of us disagreeing I mean we will all disagree from one time to another. What bothers me is posts that are directly and obvously meant to attack and hurt someone. I admit I come on a bit strong. But I have strong opinions. And I am just as guilty of being somewhat harsh at times especially wne I am tired. Tonka seem sto get me now lol. I am a VERY passionate person when it comes to animals family and independance. Thank you again for taking the time out to apoligize. It means a lot.
Yep- you put a few of us "passionate" (nicer word than I use) people into an open discussion and things are bound to get nasty from time to time. But it doesn't help anyone to make snide remarks. Thank you for accepting my apology.
Now let's go back to disagreeing- but I'll keep my claws sheathed. ;0)
(Oh- all jpegs with rather crappy quality to save disk space on the image hosts- just examples of size, not QUALITY. :)
Opera also has built in pop-up blockers (tsk tsk IE!), is virtually spyware proof, and nice features like tabs and bookmark toolbar. Really, it's a great browser- and just because you load it, doesn't mean you HAVE to use it. You can open whatever browser you want to. ;)
I personally use Firefox the most- another freebie with built-in pop-up protection and better security (I NEVER get spyware or pick up hijackers using non-IE browsers). Find it here: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Both Firefox and Opera handle terrific pets just fine- and it's nice not to have to deal with pop-ups. ;)

I would just like to thank all of you for never saying one thing about my bad spelling and grammer.
I believe I am the worst but is this what the forum is about? I think most of us know what the other person is saying even if the words are spelled wrong.
This reminds me of my mother. I would write her the most beautiful letters and she would call me and pick the spelling apart and not even say anything about how much I loved her and how nice the letter was.
SO what is the priority here. I thought it was animals.

Not that I don't appreciate your input, LongDogs (and I'll be taking a look at both Opera and Firefox...thanks for the info!), but I use IE exclusively at the moment, and it handles pop-ups just fine... Have you had issues with IE's pop-up blocker?

just gonna butt in here for a moment. one of the reasons i switched to firefox was that i kept getting "Object moved" messages(common BHO traps), as well as "DSO exploit" findings when i would run my protection software. come to find out that IE has a security hole built in it(Mr. Gates pleads innocence) that if you don't patch, you could be suceptible to attacks, etc. i patched mine, but was put off by the whole concept, so i switched to mozilla for my browser. www.geekstogo.com has some excellent information on IE, as well as why you should consider switching to another browser.
