Minniyar, it's amazing the interesting stories we all have behind our animals. I know my favorite was my first husky, ooOOOoo we butted heads sooo badly but we were the best of friends and she followed me everywhere. I was amazed how quickly she learned. It took her less than 5 minutes to learn "drop it" which ment what ever she had in her mouth at 3 and a half months old
Duke a schnauzer when I was a kid. Chauncy, Scarlet the irish setters who gave me 14 babies in one litter. My harlequin danes that I bred for a while. Jack the old english sheepdog mix Chubby the beagle Shadow, Sophie Sassy Sonny Laddie Sam Charlotte Lana and Biscuit the collies Stanley the springer spaniel Molly the white schnauzer
And Max Charlie Scruffy Sox and Daisy the cats
Besides the 14 or so collies we took in for rescue

Beagle named Scruffy. Her puppy named Jody. Chihuahua named Bootsie. German Shepherd named Wendy. Husky/Shepherd mix named Bear. Husky/Shepherd mix named Koniak. Toy Poodle named Fifi. German Shepherd named Shane. White German Shepherd/Husky named Nala. Pitbull mix named Ranger. We had Ranger for 2 days. He was dog aggresive and would fight the neighbor's lab so we had to return him to the shelter.
Now we have a Chow Chow/Beagle mixed named Alex and an American Eskimo named Kai.
Roxystar out of all those bigger dogs you have a minpin in the end... now that has to be a big difference.
I think I left out some fish that I used to have, but who can remember those? Whitey and Mr. Blue, both my kids Betas died a while back. I have to replace Prince Charming cause he died and the kids are wondering where he's hiding. Ahhhh it's a sad day in the life of a fish.... *sniffle*

My list is rather long because my father hunted when i was a kid plus we all loved dogs. We had a couple of Beagles, a Brittany Spaniel, a Blue Tick Hound, an English Setter, a Black Lab, a Rottweiler, plus we also had a couple of wonderful mutts. As I grew older I had a lab/shephard/collie mix, a dalmation and now currently have a 13 week old Rottweiler puppy.
We had a poodle when I was very young. Super dog!! In my teenage years, we had a mutt we got from the Humane Society. She was a wonderful dog. Wished I knew more about training then. She would walk with us without a leash and stay in the yard until we told her she could come out.
Now I have a Min Pin and she is so much fun and so much work!! I think she will also be a super dog. We sure love her. Once she learns more manners, she will be just perfect too.
Not sure what kind my first dog was I was 4. My dad and aunt brought home three puppies. The brown one was my aunts, the black one went to my dad's step kids, and I got the white one. They got out of the yard one day and mine got hit by a car. The brown later got traded for a beagle to a junk yard.
My next dog was suppost to have been a cockapoo, but he was more of a cocker/retreiver mix. I got him for Christmas and named him Fuzzy.
Then I got a six month old cockapoo/terrier mix that had been abused. Had to put her down at the age of 10. She had a lot of skin problems and cataracts.
Then there was my best freind and the best dog I have had so far that would be Kelly. He's father was black lab, and mother was border collie, golden, cocker, and possible irish setter. I had to put him down this last year two months short of his 19th birthday from liver failure.
My mom put my 12 year old shepherd Chance down this year.
Then at my moms house their is a 12 year old Cardigain welsh corgi I got as a rescue when she was 4. Her name is Penny. There is Macala she is a pembroke welsh corgi her and my shep/lab mix Jake are about 9 years old. There has been 11 cats, but only three now.
Here now I have one male Brittany and two females. Gumbo, Zatarain, and Langniappe. Then there is my pembroke welsh corgi Magic and her new son Leprechaun. Plus 4 cats. We also had a Brittany named Dixie and a shepherd named Gator they now live with my brother-in-law in Mississippi. We also have had two litters of nine from Gumbo and Zatarain. Keep one puppy for awhile and named him Cayanne. Also had two of Gumbo's siblings from litter a year after him. The female which is the one we bought was Zydaco and the male that we got free and gave to my father-in-law is Buck. My husband also had a german shepherd named Turtle who now also lives with my father-in-law.
Also for a short period of time till we found new homes for them there was a shepherd mix that got left at a vet office I worked at named Ding. Then there was a German Shorthaired named CoCo and an australian shepherd who went though many names, but his life time owner finally named him Ditch.
I have also fostered 8 puppies and 1 momma dog and her 5 puppies. 6 kittens and two momma cats and their babies. I haven't had much luck with fosters though. Only have had 5 puppies make to adoption and 1 momma cat and her kitten.
Almost forgot my service puppy that I raised for CCI. She was a pembroke welsh corgi named Hazelton. She was the only corgi that the trainers at the center for the advanced training ever really liked.
Also can't forget the 4 parakeets, 5 pheasants, and the two pigeans (sp).

I feel like I am forgetting some but the only dogs I actually grew up with were Sasha, Tia, and Squirt. Hilda and Hiedi died when I was little..Tia and squirt died when I was like 6 and we had Sasha until I was about 16. Abby is our current gsd.
I had a lab mix for fourteen years called sparkle and a German sheperd that was eleven.
Now I have two German Sheperds called Greta and Baron. Greta is almost 1 and Baron is almost 2. My husband loves german sheperds. I do too, they are so spoiled. But my heart is still with labs or golden retrievers.
