Woah, Woah, Woah!!! Hold on a sec! You are going to Disney World? No fair! Hope the weather is sublime for you! When are you taking off? I'll make sure aceyfaceypoopypants sees the TP pic. =) You have a bf?? Is he cute? ;) Shadow will be at your uncles? Ah, send her over here! We will miss you too! I'm leaving for 5 days on Wednesday as well, how will we manage??? LOL! Oh, and darling Bess is just going in for X-Rays. Hopefully, it is just me being dramatic. Otherwise, her and Shadow can convalesce together. XOXO
I know I pop on and on at TP and I miss a lot of posts..but WTH! Where are you going Bess?? Did you clear this with the rest of TP? I don't think you're allowed to go, unless of course you have a laptop that you can carry along with you! And..not only that, but what's wrong with Bessie??? I'm here almost everyday, yet I feel so far out of the loop!
Shadow..have a GREAT time at Disney!! You're so lucky!
DoGoneIt! You can come camping with us over in New Mexico--make sure to bring your lovely daughter and the poocharoos. And a whole bunch of WhiskeyCokeFloat fixin's cuz the Monster-In-Laws are coming too. Ugh. On second thought, let's crash Disney World with ShadowDog instead!
OooO That sounds fun!! Minus the "Monster-in-laws" and the "lovely daughter" lol I'll bring a box of wine! Some marshmellows and a whole lot of pain medication (your BF is going to need it after us keeping him up all hours of the day and night talking) :o)
lol..we can bring the dogs...after all, they are the reason we met in the first place! Better yet, BF can keep lovely daughter occupied by playing Bratz dolls with her and allowing her to put make up on him and the monster in laws...well, they can just keep their butts home!!
Not talking pets here, although I drool frequently. Hope you are well and this is a temporary situation that will be corrected 110%. Had the flu after new year and then Rotator Cuff surgery, quickly followed by scar tissue and a bad upper respiratory deal....felt good about 5 days in 3 months. Here's hoping you can kick my butt on 4/1/05. Get well, good thoughts here and many other places. e
Well, here is some oil for your hinges, opisbo, in the form of aged agave nectar. DGI!!! Bessie has been limping for a while now. At first I thought it was just the puppy clumsies, but after a few other people noticed it, I made a post here, and came to the conclusion that perhaps it was something like elbow dysplesia(thank you Minniyar). Either that, or it is her knee cap or both. I dunno. Anyway, she is not in pain and passed her initial exam, but they want to do a "diagnostic" on her, LOL. So, next week the little mutt goes in for an X-Ray. Boo hoo, I hope she is okay!
How could I have missed that :o( Poor Bessie Wessie!! At least she isn't in any pain..I hope the X-rays go well and that you are just being a drama queen. These are the types of things that I should get an email about!!!! You turd! I didn't even know Bessie was having problems..hmmph! Nikko is PO'd at you now! lol
Well, thank you for your concern, DGI, you are too sweet. And I promise from this point on to keep you abreast of her condition! Tell Nikko that Bessie wants her to massage her kneecap with Jessica Simpson cotton candy lotion. LOL! licky licky!
RADS often tell a good story. I am aware of some Vets that have used ultrasound...for related purposes and other. When the word MRI is mentioned people and jobless, broke pets immediately think moolah, and for justifiable reasons. Just curious, I realize it is in excess of probably $300 a pop plus diazepam/isoflourane to put an animal "out" to perform the procedure, if its even plausible. Wasn't born yesterday but maybe last wednesday...do any vets use this?? Not making light of your situation, just had a thought. Had a vet, not so good in my opinion: the cop out diagnosis was an ACL, frequently unfounded. Obviously your prob doesn't concern "knee" probs, just on a tangent. Probably taking into consideration my own probs. I'm a difficult patient, better use the narco kit.
Actually, opisbo, it might concern her knee, if it is a luxating patella. Which I'm hoping it isn't. As for the rest of it, my vet is, she is pretty po dunk, so I think X-rays is all I get. Don't know much about the rest of it. And please feel free to make light of the situation, it is indeed the only way to get through life.
