I have two cats and three mice. Every time I leave the door to my room open, my cats find their way in there. Zelda will sit on the cages like a queen on her throne, or she'll knock them over. All three mice have already escaped and by luck been caught again. With summer coming, the only way to cool off the house is to keep that door open. Any advice on how to train this out of them or a way to keep my door open and the cats out?
can you move the cage to another room for the summer? i have a guinea pig and 2 cats. they love to sit on dozers cage but when he is out they just ignore him. they are great hunters though and have caught and killed mice. i have him in a large cage that is not asily tipped but if i had a problem i would just move the cage. its easier than trying to train a cat. my cats define the definition of cat and are not easily made to do something they don't want to do.
