This makes me want to throw-up. When I went to adopt my boy at the shelter a while back, there where two cases that were just so sad. One was a 9 year old Great Pyr that had been left behind by a family when they had moved. They had left her in the apartment with a note around her neck asking someone to take her to the pound because the new place they were moving would not allow pets. The second was a 10 year old Dobbie mix, that a couple brought in. They had adopted this dog has a puppy. She was timid and shy and they were turning her in because they felt she no longer "fit into their life-style". After 10 years a dog no longer fits into your life style????? Both stories broke my heart.
They are both sad, but that really makes me sad to hear about that great pyrenees. What kind of sick family can't pick their butt(wants to say the bad word for butt) up and take it to the pound themselves, instead of leaving it with a note around it's neck?
this is such a sad story. i've heared of apartment communities where people would skip out and just leave their pets behind. no food no water, no liter. it makes me furious to hear stories like this. PEOPLE LETS TAKE CARE OF OUR PRECIOUS PETS!!!
