I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience with Troy's breeder. Her website is:From her website, I would not buy from her in the first place because she says she sells tiny's. She say's her mom's are between 6-8 pounds which is the size of a normal toy. Other than that, her site is pretty void of information. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for a 2 year old male?

Alldogslover, if you would like, here is a link to our Sugar Baby on Dogster, and you can see the rest of our Poodle Pak from there. Sugar Baby: http://www.dogster.com/?76195 If your poo's want pup pals, please ask. I don't because I don't want to force that many on anyone.
I paid $300.00 cash for my Troy. Laurie was selling him with AKC papers but I told her I didn't want them since I only wanted him for a pet. I really do not have any use for them, I guess, what do you think?
About Troy being pals with your gang, it would be great. I am still trying to get familiarized with Dogsters.
If he's not going to be bred or in any competitions then the papers would only be for yourself. I personally would have even a pet registered (not because I want to line AKC's pocket) but so I have the documentation. You never know, your pet may be great at agility or obedience or something. Also if I'm paying for a purebred, I want the proof. Just my personal feelings on papers. On the price, that is not bad if he was in good health and without any serious emotional problems. It sounds as if he's got some baggage, but not to bad. You kind of take a chance buying a dog that age because they could have had numerous owners, bad experiences, health issues by the time you get them. I hope things work out for you and Troy. He looks like a real sweetie.
PS: I'm glad you didn't name him Charlie also. You don't want to replace your Charlie with another. You just want to fill the void he left in your heart.
Troy has really done a great job at filling the emptiness Charlie left in our house; However, we will always remember and miss Charlie. To this day, when I see his pictures I cry. I loved him so much!!
I bought a poodle . A little tea-cup we named Nala. We are from the Sacramento area, but drove down to pick her up. We visited her home, and saw that they were very loving toward their animals. We didn't stay long. I don't remember seeing your particular dog, Nala was born on Aug 24th, 2003. We purchased her in October of 2003. So perhaps Troy is her *dad*.

I am sorry I did not respond to your posting. I had not seen it.
I do not think my Troy is Nala's father. Troy was born in November 2003. He's 2 years old.
He's doing very well now. He's so spoiled!
I am glad you had a good impression of Laurie, it is good to know.
Your babies are gorgeous. I am working on Troy's eye stains. So far, we tried paste(Troy and I were not patient enough and he moved too much) and eye draining done by the vet (it did not work, he's still tearing) We are scheduled to go to the vet tomorrow. I think it might be an infection, what do you think?
