I know that my cat knows whats gonna happen before it happens because we had a tornado a week ago, and before the tornado my cat was acting very odd. She kept looking out the windows and she looked scared. And then I looked out the window and there was a tornado flying towards us.
The tornado didn't do much damage to our house, by the way :)
And sometimes my dog stares at something when there's nothing there.

the above quote is hillarious..some believe we are supposed to have guardian angels and they are supposed to follow us every where but i seriously hope he/she takes a step back and waits outside when i go for a wee!!
i do believe in spirits/ghosts etc whether they are made up in our mind or 'real' i dont know but i have often seen our family pet from when we lived at home running in the garden..its always quick just out the corner of my eye..i have heard before that these images are made in our mind and are a way of helping us deal with things..if this is true i dont know.
a friends dog always sit facing into a corner barking and growling..
my dog has in the last few weeks kept staring at hte same point in the ceiling and when i move into the kitchen he acts nervous and will sit in front of me peering in to the living room and whining..if i go into the living room he will sit in his bed in the tv room..the thing is he HATES the kitchen and will never go in there any other time only and wont go in his bed untill i tell him to he only does this when he starts staring at the ceiling. He loves the living room its his favourite place..its really peculiar and always gives me goose pimples!
Because dogs smell and hear beter than we do, I think these are just ordinary things that they are aware of that we aren't, not ghosts, for the most part. But some of these stories are really mystifying, I must say.
I've never been a very religious person, although I embrace all types of religion as long as they don't foster hate. I would love to be a parent of teenagers who spend their wednesday nights at a church youth group instead of out on the street doing god knows what.
Well, one time when I was about 7 years old or so, my best friend and I (who used to take me to Sunday school with her) were out in the parking lot at her church. They had a basketball court there. It wasn't regulation size or anything but it was big enough for the adults there. Well, we're standing out there one day trying to throw hoops(just the two of us) and she goes to mid court, turns around and throws the ball backwards over her head. It goes in! Then she says, you try. So, I go to mid court also, turn around backwards, and throw the ball over my head. IT WENT IN! I promise I'm not making up a story to be dramatic. That really happened. That has always been what makes me think that there's got to be some other forces at work in this universe. I drive by that church every day on my way to work and I always think of that day. I just think there's no way two 7 year old kids could have thrown a basket from mid court, backwards, and on only one try each. Come ON!
So, in other words, yes I believe! Animals definitely have better intuition than people.
