I am being eaten alive by nervousness, and am tyring to get everything together! Still have to go get snacks at the grocery store, and Bait-makings (yum, liver!) Chubby and I are heading out before dawn Sunday, on our way to the St. Louis area for the Shetland Sheepdog National Specialty. The judges are fantastic this year, so we are optimistic!
It will be kinda fun to have a week with my friends while leaving DH and DD here to man the fort :)
But argh, there's still soooooo much left to do! And HOW will I live through the super-long classes at the National? And the double edged sword- I want Chubs to win, but if he wins his class, we have to go back into the ring for another one (I get so nervous!)
I am praying for good weather! And good vendors- shopping is fun!
Wishing you the best of luck! I would love to go to our National Specialty (Poodles), but it is always held on the right coast and we live on the left coast. We may have the Regional Specialty in Seattle next year, and our club may help the sponsoring club. That would be great!
Good luck. Just have some fun!! Welcome to the St. Louis area. I live in north St. Louis County. FYI, Sunday is supposed to be 76 and partly cloudy, Monday 75 and partly cloudy. Hope you enjoy your visit to St. Louis.
