I think that we all should try to be a bit nicer to Roxygirl09. I know that she can be very, very, very, very rude, especially on what she said to obispo in alexandra's post. I think that she also lies about having a dog in the first place, and even if she does have a dog, she doesn't seem to be a good dog owner, as her poodle is "furious." But she is a newbie, and believe it or not, I think her feelings are hurt, and nobody deserves that. If she comes back, can we agree to be nicer to her if she's less rude?
anybody who makes that bad of a first impression doesnt deserve respect. She left for good and now we have not to worry about her. Less stress for us. I mean what normal person actually just plain out says " FRENCH BULLDOGS ARE UGLY" that makes me so mad. Roxygirl needs to get a life....nomatter if shes 8 or 80. i could care less to give her respect.
Hmmmm, I guess you are right. I forgot that when she said that french bull dogs are ugly was her first post. OK, maybe we should not be nice to her, i mean she did say that obispo was a jerk and say that he (or she) was wierd. And I kind of got mad when she said that cats are mean and that they are lazy bums.
From time to time, people come to forums for the sole purpose of being rude. They say things that could only produce negative replies, and they enjoy the attention they get from those replies and even from a post like this one, with their name in the subject line. It doesn't make sense to normal people who post because they enjoy the company of others with like interests, or to learn about animals, but it happens.
Instead of being rude, I like to go the route of ignoring and moving on. In this way, I am not annoyed by the person and they are not getting my attention. I didn't ignore this one because I think that you are genuinely concerned for someone's feelings. I see that you have not been here that long, so maybe you have not yet seen this kind of poster that forums refer to as trolls.

Its hard when you are just writing and not talking in person. Sometimes people misunderstand things when it was not intended to hurt anyone. I think we have all been there, where we might have said something that was taken wrong or not like we meant it. But, I think in this case we ought to consider the one she ran off. There was a new member she was rude to that will probably never come back. Its bad enough as it is when you try to just have a good time talking about your pets, but when someone joins and runs other people off, I don't think it should be tolerated. She was not only rude but lied. The girl has a problem.
Found the post/response that called me a "jerk"...not very funny...at least be creative. I've been called worse than jerk before the cream even touched my coffee...today too, if u can believe that. LOL
I know an exceptional insult school, teaches one to think creatively and off the cuff instantly. In terms of "slams".. maybe a 1st grade equivalent. Summer school for 1st graders?? Made my boring day...love you guys!!! Carry on For all I care he/she can post till the sun stops heating the planet.
sorry but i am not "rude" to anyone until they insult my family. i am the one that she replied to with the nasty comment "french bulldogs are UGLY !" well they are part of my family. i was posting about dog food and never asked for her opinion of my breed of dog which just happens to be french bulldogs. I LOVE MY FRENCHIES ! and i will not feel sorry for anyone that is capable of being that nasty to someone she dosent even know. i am also new and almost didnt want to come back here. but decided i wouldnt allow one bad apple to drive me away from meeting the really nice people that are on this forum.
Voicing your opinion, when it could potentially insult someone is in very poor taste. What if someone said that about your dog of choice? At thirteen you're old enough to have learned discretion. When something is your opinion and it is hurtful you keep your mouth shut. My nine year old has more couth than that.
As far as your other post in what kind of dog to get- the following dog is the kind you should get until you have matured enough to realize that training is part of having a dog in your life.
