The fur on her head is as soft as velvet, however the whiskers on her chin and face are sooooo picky. They are short, thick black whiskers and you'd better not be wearing shorts if she is around. Those little whiskers are sharp like cactus needles.
Kesha loves to sit on the floor in front of us and rest her chin on your leg. It feels like a cactus is on your skin. Therefore we nicknamed her Cactus Lips.
Since she was raised around a Chihuahua, Kesha never got the concept that she is a big dog. She thinks that she can climb up in your lap and perch on your chest, like Abby. Sometimes she gets the notion that she should perch on your shoulder, like her sister.
Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. Kesha is a sweet dog and the pictures I had posted earlier this year, didn't do her justice.
She is so happy that she can spend time outside now, winter was too cold for her and she was in the house 99% of the time. Now she loves to sit out in the yard and watch the birds and just enjoy the nature.
I bring her to my home and let her run around in my big dog pen, she's become good buddies with Spotty, our Dalmatian. My elderly neighbor stopped by last week to watch the dogs and she said what kind of dog is that? I told her Pit Bull and Shar Pei. She got an attitude about that, without even finding out that the dog is very friendly and was not raised to be mean. (Heck, we never even bit her tail, once. he he, inside joke.)
