Summer is going to need surgery one day. This morning we were running around outside and she started doing that weird stomach thing she does before she throws up. So I waited & she was really struggling. I look....and she threw up....an ENTIRE PAIR of UNDERWEAR. omg. Is that even physically possible???? Im so glad it did not get clogged up somewhere in there but jeez, UNDERWEAR?
That's just scary. Have you got any idea when she could have gotten it? I never see Bowen even sniff at our clothing, unless it's when we get home from somewhere where he can smell other dogs and cats. Riddick has picked up one of Caitlin's socks, but that's about it. We watched Bowen closely when he was a puppy, and watch Riddick closely now so that he can never eat anything like that.
Yeah, dude walked his lab or golden (don't remember which) beside the golf course daily.. he was like a vaccuum. They didn't have to xray him to check cause you could hear them rattle when he walked.. I would hope you'd notice way before 23 though..
Cider likes to pull my thongs through the holes in my basket... Has become very good at it. Even opens the closet door herself to get at them..
She wants to chew them and lick them (makes a disgusted face) not eat them though. Wow.
She managed to find a piece of dental floss the other day though while my mom was watching her and swallowed it before anyone could get it.. I'm still kinda worried about that. Freaking canine vaccuum over here too..

My dog eats the stuffing out of toys, bedding and pillows. So far he hasn't got totally plugged up. Sometimes he struggles though. Gross! I have done everything I can to keep him from getting more stuffing but he always manages to get more.
LOL Just had to reply to this. One day, I took Sassy to the backyard and was amazed and appalled when I saw bright colors poppin out of her!! She had sneaked into a pack of balloons, I soon learned. 11 of them. Sheesh, you think you starve these greedy pups. LOL
Acey, you're very lucky that Summer threw them up and they didnt get stuck in her GI tract.....thank god she's ok.
On the topic of eating things, my wonderful cat once ate a whole plastic bag.....as one piece...after dry heaving for a few days and no eating..or pooping, he had to have surgery to remove the bag. It got between the two sphincter s in the stomach. so basically the bag was stuck in the stomach and blocking everything. It cost me alot of money...and nerves.
OMG, how embarassing Acey. My Shih tzu went to the groomers in February and when she came home, they had a small scarf around her neck. It disappeared during the day, so I thought it had fallen off behind the couch or something. Forgot about it until later that night, when Daisy woke me up. She had thrown up the scarf, on my bed, next to my pillow. Gross. It smelled like a sewer. Nasty. Think I mentioned this before, on a different thread, but had to put in my two cents worth today.
