My bulldog has had a clear and white nasal discharge for over six weeks on just one side of his nose. He had elongated soft palate and stenotic nares surgery three weeks ago. While he was under, the doctor checked for any foreign object and there was nothing. The doctor thinks my dog has a sinus infection so he has been on antibiotics for over three weeks and he still is not any better. Please, has anyone ever had this same experience with their bulldog?
My frenchie has had upper respiratory infections in the past, and was on medication. It did disappear, but I saw some green, discharge. She regularly has clear liquid run out of her nose occasionally. When something does pop up like a upper respiratory infection, the vet now says to leave it and it will resolve itself, and it always does. It tends to pop up a few days after shes had a bath for some reason.(Leeza has good nostrils and breathing) Ask the vet to change the type of antibiotics, I think I used Clavamox.

My lil 4 month old bully girl has the same problem. My vet checked her all out at our last visit and all he could think of, cus she did check out so health and happy, was the she has allergies. He gave me some meds for her but I can't think of the name right now. She only has to take it once a day and her nose doesn't run. He also said that dogs can be allergic to their people as their people can be to them, lol I never knew that but hey anything is totally possible with our furkids. Hope this info helps ya out some.
