Well many of you know that My goldens had babies 16 weeks ago. 2 went to pet homes, 4 went to be wheelchair assist dogs, and 1 went to be a hearing assist dog (the program director would have taken both but only had 1 puppy raiser), so I am left with 1. My dad dosen't know it yet but I think she is going to be staying. She is the pup that at 4 weeks, I said if I could keep one, she would be it. I have 3 dogs, the limit in my city. So as long as no one complines to the city, or if unless one of my close friends decideds they will take her she get to stay.
Now I just have to name her. I didn't name any of the pups. I knew if I did I will be sadder when they left, than if they didn't have a name and the new parents let me know what the name was, that way I could be happy that they have a new home, and their very own name.
Good to see you Dallas..I hope the pup can fly under the radar in your area...You should be able top pull it off....I have one too..supposely sunday some one is coming to look at her,..Hubby is already hinting on keeping her..i dont want to ...she is sweet..but we cant keep some of each litter...we have enough now..so..I hope she gets the best home...Good luck to you Dallas..Sure good to see you again...cya
Thanks... My Mom and Dad are asking me if Iam going to put another ad out. but I am so tired of it all at this point. I plan on getting Duchess spayed so their will be no more litters. Even though the Lady who took the pups for the wheelchair program, thought I should wait and see what all the test say, and if Duchess test good, I might want to rethink spaying. She was real impressed with the pups she got, and talked the lady at the hearing assist dog place into coming out (she normaly use older dogs, and doesn't have pup raiser). Duchess gets her test in January, and Duke in July. I loved that most of the pups went to help someone, but there is now guarintee that pups from every litter would make the program, or that there would be room for them in the programs.
Anyways, I am going to have to think of a reg name. I want it to have her parents name in there or be along the same lines.
Hi Dallas!! Congratulations!!! I'd be so happy right now if I got to keep a Golden Retriever pup. They are my favourite breed!!!! Good luck on the name thing. Oh ya, It's great that some of your puppies are going to be hearing assists and wheelchair assists. You are so lucky....I hope you realize that.

Well we have been calling her for the past week Missy, as in Miss Priss. And she is coming to that so Missy will prob be her name. As to her reg name, still have no idea.
I love my goldens they are one of the sweetest dogs, and when I had Duchess out with my brother's lab pups, she put them to shame. The goldens are so much clamer, and have better manners than the labs did.
Well I just got home, and my dad tells me he trred to give the pup away to the mail carrier lady. She said she couldn't have anymore dogs, but would ask the other carriers. I told him no I am keeping it. So he is mad at me, and I am mad at him. lol. just another typical day here.
