It is a Boston Terrier..and please do your research before buying one..'cute' is not a reason to buy a particular breed. I'm a Boston girl, and to me they are the most wonderful breed, but I have seen the bad side of them too, so please do your research and be very careful where you get one from. Oh and FYI there are many many rescue Bostons in need of homes, in case you'd be interested in adopting. (Boy I cringed when I saw that commercial, I knew their popularity would shoot up, which is always detrimental to a breed).
Exactly Pearl and Mrama, so many people I know are saying they want those two breeds now. I also heard they're doing a remake of the Doberman Gang, just when that breed was starting to lose it's rep! Remember 101 Dalmations?
Yup, freinchies too.. and many commercials, like the one of the dog walking down the street, I think he has a walkman on? There was also a short lived Fox sitcom that had a frenchie...now I'm starting to see them at the dog park alot more, coincidence?
Don't be so sure Carrott..nowadays if someone sees a dog they like on tv, they will find a way to get it. Someone might see Scooby Doo and think he looks like a German Sheperd/Dane mix, so they will just find someone who makes them. Even the mixed breeds in commercial cause damage because if people see a mix they like they will look around till they find someone breeding that exact mix. No dogs are safe.... Having said that..I know most people fall in love with dogs they saw on TV or in a picture and that's fine. But step number two is to find out about the breed and make sure it suits your needs. When I first saw a Weinmeraner it was on a commercial, and I thought I wanted one. Then I did some research and met some and realized, that although very beautiful, they didn't really suit my lifestyle.
