You know, they fail to address the question I've been asking all along in regards to the 'labradoodle'. What is wrong with the poodle or any of the other breeds of dogs that are best for allergy sufferers? Why mix in a labrador retriever at all?
The other 'breeds' they covered were wolfdogs, the caucasian mountain dog (which really is a breed, just not well known in the US), cockapoos and the alaskan kee-kai (which is now UKC registered, because they're going the right way about developing the breed). They also went over the different mixes that were being bred in order to make a perfect 'flyball' champ. All invariably included border collies in teh line. I actually don't object to the flyball breedings at all, at least those dogs are being bred wtih a real specific purpose in mind.
