That's great news! She's home so much quicker than I expected, that's awesome! Scout, if you read this, we all miss you and hope you get well soon. In the meantime, make sure everyone waits on you hand and foot, because you deserve it ;)
Get well soon, Scout! We're all waiting for you to hurry up and recover so you can come back to us! We miss you! We are keeping you in our hearts and hoping that all our thoughts will feed your strength. Get well soon, sweetie!
lol huntersmom, you took the words right out of my mouth. Scout, if you are anything like me, laying around and not being able to do things for yourself is no fun, that said, try your best to put your feet up and let hubby spoil you. Rent your favorite movies and just relax. I had to spend the first months after my surgery one handed so i know what it is like. If you still have the use of your dominant hand, lucky you, and if not- this will be a great opportunity to work on becoming ambedexterous (sp) and there will be a test-- I will expect you to be able to write the alphabet and draw a picture of a stickman by the end of this ordeal-- once you can do that you will forever be able to rest easy knowing that you can play hangman with either hand!! wont that be a great party trick, lol, It's no tying a cherry stem in a knot with your toung but it may entertain some crowds. If you are really board you could also always work on the whole cherry stem in a knot thing...
I am sure that you are thrilled to be back at home-sweet-home. Now Scout and the crew can take good care of you. Can not wait to hear from you yourself. Much Love, Emma :)
That first message was awfully scary- I think we all feared for the worse. It's SO good to know that she'll recover and be with us again one day. I hope she can stay busy running through the web- even if she can't type much. Reading is more fun than nothing I suppse. We'll have to look for her screenname up there. ;)
Feel better, Scout. You are well loved and needed.
