well it has been one rough week. i'll spare some of the details as it is difficult to type with only one very swollen and stitched up hand. other arm is in a cast =( . have a nicely stitched gash on the head that would rival frankensteins. sore neck and back. bruised ribs, various minor cuts and bruises evenly dispersed all over the rest of my body. got home sunday and then spent monday in the hospital with my son ...who decided to ride his bike with no helmet and crashed his head in to a rock wall. his doctor thought he may have a fractured skull so off we went for cat scans of his head. he's fine thank god but has a miserable night last night. hopefully thigs will be on the up swing now for both of us.
i cant ever express how much it meant to me to see all your kind words and well wishes for me. thanks to cricketmom and mizzi for calling my home to see how i was. thanks to all who sent pearl ecards that she forwarded to me yesterday. i think i replied to each of you who sent them. i may have missed 1 or two cause the hand started aching. if i missed replying to you i will i promise.
thank you to ginah and all of you for lighting candles. that was awesome. i had never heard of such a website. it was truly wonderful.
thank you to jawlaw and all the members of the furum who posted their well wishes here and on ansy's forum. it really meant alot.
ok........going to go elevate the hand now so some of the swelling goes down =( .
to quote the governor of california " i'll be back. " lol.
take care everyone and again THANKS SO MUCH !!!!!!!
It is sooooo good to hear (see) from you!! I'm so glad you're on your way to recovery! All of us are biting our nails in suspense, wondering when you were going to hurry up and get healed so you can write more. Hehehehe We missed you, Scout. It is good to know that you are safe and will be feeling better soon.
It is great to hear that you are doing well. I prayed alot for you, as well as everyone here at TP. Our prayers were answered and I am sure you will be back in the swing of things with time and healing.
So glad to see you back and on the up swing. Just don't try to do anything too fast. Sometimes it is tempting to get back too soon when we start to feel better and its always better to give yourself time to really recover. Enjoy your time off from work. Not the easiest way to do it, but take the time to rest. Sorry to hear about your son, it seems when it rains it pours, but everything at least now sounds to be on the mend. Be glad to see you back!!!!
Scout1! I'm so glad to see you back and posting again! As I said (typed), I wish you a complete and speedy recovery. Jeez, it felt as if my sister had been in an accident! Good to hear your home and on the mend. As for your son, I know that feeling as well. Timothy (my now 21 year old) decided to ride his bike down a steep hill and, as his cousin said when we got there, he "biffed" it. Gotta love em' (or do we?) :)
Hi, sorry to hear of your accident, when your feeling better I'd like to hear what exactly happened. Was it a car accident? were you driveing? How was your hospital stay, I was in a roll over a few years ago, and if it weren't for the hospital stay being so boreing, I would have been there longer. I hope you have help at home....
It is so good to hear strait from the horses mouth that you are doing well.
You need a therapy riding program :) If you were closer you could ride my mare- she is sweet as Pie (funny cause I named her Pi, lol) we all want you to get well and feel well- it has been said before (many times) but I will say it again (and again and again :) We missed you sooo much. welcome home and to your internet home. Can't wait for you to feel better and for everything to be back to normal, No more trips to the hospital!! xoxo Emma
so glad you are home and on the road to recovery. its hard not being able to use your hands. when i had surgery on my hands. i was ok until they did my right hand. then i had a hard time trying to even use a pen,let alone type. lol . but it does get better. glad to see you back!
Scout, I am so happy to hear that you're home and doing well. Continue to recover and I'll continue to keep you in my prayers. I guess Ant, just wanted to see what it felt like for Mom, huh? I really hope he's doing well also.
You gave us all such a big scare, you turd...don't ever do that again. Thank goodness you're alright! Tim must have been going crazy!!!
