After asking all you experts about dog food I finally chose one! (thanks again you all rock!)
I ended up going with Eagle Pack Holistic Select chicken and rice. I really wanted to go with Natural Balance since it is a pre-made raw food. I just could not find it. I also could not find Artemis Natural Fresh Mix.
Today I went to a different pet store and here it is Natural Balance! I have a 7 day try out with Eagle Pack so I did not know if I should go with Natural Balance or stay with Eagle? I did not get the regular eagle I got the holistic more natural of the eagle pack brands. I like that one.
I was aslo considering to go with Royal Canin, but they did not have big bags for Chihuahua's (the breed select ones) and from what the pet store told me Eagle Pack and Royal are basically the same.
Guess my question is . . . what is the difference if any between Eagle Pack Holistic Select, Royal Canin, or Natural Balance? Which do you think is better? Do they basically do the same thing. Is it just more pricy for one name than another?

Royal Canin's Mini and Max lines are really no good. They're more of a gimmick than anything. Chihuahuas don't need a different food than a dachshund- individuals within a breed might do better on different ingredients, but making an barely average quality food for each breed is pretty stupid, IMHO.
Their Senisible Choice line is actually very good, however- and worth a try. I prefer Natural Balance, however.
When trying a food, you really ought to use it for at LEAST two weeks. I'd stick with the Eagle Pack for now, unless it's harder to come upon or much more expensive than the Natural Balance.
