Okay, my goal was not to be mean when I started posting on this thread BUT here's the deal. You don't answer simple questions that you should have the answer to or you have no business breeding. Either you're hiding something OR you just have no idea what I'm talking about when I ask the question. Either case, you shouldn't be breeding.
It's great to get defensive when someone is legitimately picking on you, but my point, that you missed way back in my first post, was that you need to know EXACTLY what you are talking about and EXACTLY what you are doing. Otherwise, expect to get some critism from people who have done YEARS of homework, and research, and have taken the time to learn what they need to know to be a good breeder.
Maybe my posts get too long (Breivity is not in my vocabulary) and that's why you missed what my point was. I asked if you were twelve because you kept missing my point and answering my questions with shady answers. I wasn't so much trying to be insulting. My delivery was flawed (even I admit I may have been a little harsh) but the thing is, to any knowledgable person your story smells a little rotten. Go back, look at my posts and take some time to answer my questions... They are well based and truthfully what any knowledgable dog person would ask of you.
I will not be breeding my dog alone like I said in a before post my mother and possible my grandmother will be helping me breed my dog. They have had and breed doberman through out there lifes main of times. This is not there first time breeding Dobermans. Also like i said in another post any pups that don't sale my mother will take. I don't know if i made this things clear in my other posts.
"If you go to a search engine you can find alot of good breeders that way. Another way to find a good breeder is by looking at akc.org this is where I found my dobermans breeders but of course the breeders that I got my doberman are no longer alound to breed under the AKC name. "
Is this the real reason you are not breeding you doberman to another reg doberman. If the person you got your dog from is not in good standing with the AKC, then how can you be sure your dog is not a mix. When the AKC does this, that means the breeder is a bad breeder, and does not follow standers or regultions. Like say one dog is the father, when he is not.
Also have you told the so called service or training places that want you pups this. Or any of the other people that are going to buy. because if you haven't it is your responiblity to tell them. if they did know most if not all would refuse to buy

i love mix breeds, and own a couple myself. i would love to have a doby / german shepard mix. can i email u about getting one or two when u do breed them, trinity? and might i add, that is a lovely name.
I know exactly y the breeders are no longer aloud to breed with the AKC name I was the one who called the AKC about them. Shes not a mix they had it taken away cause of the way they were treating the dog. Due to the hair doesn't grow on the back of my dogs ears. Trust me I had her checked out by a vet. And once again get lost dallas you don't know what you are talking about. Also when I respond to anotehr post it has to do with that post not this one. You didn't get the full story so next time ask before you speak.
Yes tuna_chaser I would love to give you my e-mail but I wouldn't put it up here for unknowledge people to e-mail about stuff they don't know if you have yahoo messanger and you give me that name I will add you to my list and we can tlak that way.
N oproblem its just nice to find at least one more person who knows how to have a nice conversation weather they agree with the topic or not. Some people have become nice but other like dallas are just plain rude.
dallas is not mean at all. there are just several people on here that have personally seen the overcrowded shelters and what happens to the dogs that dont get adopted. i am one of those and it breaks my heart to go in them.there are just so many homeless animals and not enough homes to place them in. spay/neutering is so important if theres ever going to be a decline in it. thats why its so important that people that are breeding ,are doing it for the betterment of the breed .and it takes alot of experience and knowledge of the breed to be able to do that.
What was really rude about what he did was how he took a post from a different subject and posted it here before finding out the stroy behind it. Also like I said before My mother and grand mother have been breeding and they will be with me through all of this. And just for the record the way you stated your comment was in a nice way not a rude way.
there are some people that can come off as rude, although i have never known dallas as being one of them. but some i just consider strong willed and highly opinionated and we cannot change them.i try to word things so as not to hurt anyones feelings.some people just dont know how to do that or choose not too. people are here to help with advice or learn. i dont ever want to be responsible for making anyone feel unwelcome.
To loose your AKC rights, you have to be the worst kind of person! You have to lie about sire or dam on the papers, cheat customers, and mistreat your dogs. And most of the time these must be repeat affences. You can not loose AKC rights because you dog is missing hair. The "breeder" must have had MANY calls and letters to the AKC.
Side note: Most good breeders will only place thier pups on a spay/neuter contract unless the dog is to be shown, or of breeding quality going to an experanced breeder. The breeder does this to prevent one of thier dogs reproducing pups who end up in the shelters or worse.
here is the list of banned breeders, http://www.barkbytes.com/suspend/suspindx.htm you will notice that they are banned for poor record keep or animal crultey convictions. So from what you are say your breeder was banned for animal crulety, which had to be a conviction. And any breeder that is banned for this is not a breeder that cares about the betterment of the breed. As it seems you don't, or you would not be mixing the breed.
I didn't get rude till, you started your name calling.. Which you did when you didn't get the answer you wanted.
Also if you mother and grandmother were such good breeders, they would be telling you not to do it. As it dosen't better the breed.. All you are doing to added to the problem...
btw thank you dusty. you are right, I am not normally rude, but this person takes the cake.
