Hey guys he is doing great!!! Today he started running all over the place. He is an explorer. He is into everything. I have to watch him closly or who knows what he will get into. So anyway my husband said I can't keep him and I know that but he has been with me for almost 2 weeks now with no name so I need one any ideas. Husband said naming him will make it harder to let go but I can't keep calling him baby or he will think that is his name. Also I have many good people interested in him. I am sure he will have a good home when I get ready to let him go. But I am being very picky. Some friends of ours live on a farm and love animals but thinks dogs of that size need to be outside dogs so I told them sorry I couldn't let him go to them do you think that is mean? Many others wanting him and he would be allowed in the house. But also I am watching to see the interest because everyone loves a puppy especially one that is only 3lbs. But how they react as he gets bigger. I know it may sound stupid to some but if they can't love him as much as I do they can't have him!!!! Sorry to ramble on just really need a name.
i don't have any idea about a name, but i'll say your being a responsible breeder by homing a puppy that fits the type of household you see as the best for the dog, no that is not mean especially not to the pup
Mason is cute!!! Thanks gunny I am not a breeder but had a person who had pups (shouldn't have) and the mom didn't want this one and of course I was not going to let them put it down because they didn't have time to to play mommy. So now I just am quite protective of him. He is like my baby. I have 3 dogs so husband said I could raise it to 8 weeks but could not keep it. I think he kinda has become attached to the little fart too though. He brings him to bed after his 4 am feeding and snuggles with him until morning. Not so sure he will do that again without letting him go pee though. Had a accident on dads side of the bed LOL.
I wish you were right. He loves animals but is more realistic then myself. He figures if he has a good home we already have 3 that we take care of and need us. They are kinda put out by the little guy needing so much of moms attention right now.
I agress and disagree with the video?? I don't know much about pits but I know even with my chihuahuas that one of mine is good with people and one is not and will lash out of fear.
Pit bulls have instincts and they have muscle and very powerful jaws that lockdown like clamps. I think I have heard that much like a horse, a horse will not retract from a bite until their cycle of biting down (all the way) is complete.
Are pits instrictually or being evolved into aggression? Are some pits bred for fighting sold to families where these dogs are attacking children of these families?
I am not putting down the breed. I am asking questions so that I may be more informed. I realize it is usually the case of the stupid owner but Sometimes these dogs maul their own owners..
I am sure some pits are nice but something people like me keep on our mind at all times... Any dog can attack at anytime.. you don't know, it may be sick, hurt or abused. It just so happens that the pit can do some of the worst damages due to its large strong jaw I suppose.
My ex boyfriend had a pit named Keiser after a german general I guess.. it seemed ok to me but my ex demonstrated the dogs jaw size and capabuility to me with a large tree branch and it was scary.
More then half the times you read or hear about a pit mauling it's not even a pit. A dog does not all of a sudden go crazy and maul it's owner or a person walking on the street. There a suttle signs at first ,such as dominance ,growling, ect. These signs are ignored, the dog is never corrected, they get worse until there's attack.A pit showing any signs of human aggression should be humanely pts,and these owners ignore the signs.Pits are very strong ,when they do bite can do a lot of damage, but a well bred dog that's stable should never be human aggressive.I've owned this breed for over a decade, and 2 pits at one time for over 5 years. My dogs have never shown any sign of human aggression, but my one is extremely dog aggressive. The pit bull video speaks the truth about what happens to a lot of these dogs.Once you go bully, you never go back.I'll always one to 2 in my life.I love their courage and their heart.
my friend says Zuiz and i think thtas luvly bt it's up 2 u whenevr it gets older u don't have 2 change it bcause it's a puppy name and a adult name my friend's cousin has a bulldog called Zuiz and she says it's lovely
