Not only is she beautiful, she's very lucky to have not only survived being hit, found and brought to be cared for by a caring person, then loved by all and adopted by someone who will give her a long and happy life.

Ginger, Jada is such a cutie! I love her arrival story, I don't think I've ever heard how you came to have Jada, that's neat that she was able to heal from such an accident and find a good home with you guys :) Does her hip give her any problems since the accident?
Ella sent her a puppal request :)

Huntersmom- thanks for the pup pal request! And everyone else who sent one too! Its really a fun site! Anyway, she still does not use her leg 100% of the time. When she runs she uses it kind of like a buffer, but when she walks you can't hardly tell there was an injury. She doesn't seem to be in any pain anymore like in the beginning, but I keep deramaxx on hand if I need it. She was taking it regularly in the beginning but I have since weened her off of it. I hate to give medicine if she doesn't really need it. I also give her glucosamine supplements. I'm hoping this will help in the long run. In the future as she gets older she may need another surgery, but for now she's fine! She was really shy when we first got her, but she's really come out of her shell. We're taking her swimming too to try and build up the muscles in that leg. She didn't like it at first, but it only took one trip for her to be jumping and playing in the water. She's such a joy. Her only "bad" habit is chewing everything in site....trash....hubby's computer game (that was not good), mom's t-shirt, hair clip, whatever she can get her mouth on. I have to watch her constantly. I hope she grows out of this. She is still young. So we'll see. It doesn't really matter though. I love her to death!
Deacon the boston and Beau the cat actually live at my mom's house, but they see each other quite often and love to visit! Beau was my cat in high school, then stayed with my mom (well he was really both of ours, but she won out on who got to keep him) :) Mom and Dad got Deacon after I was married so technically he belongs to them, but I babysit when they go out of town.
