Canned food in fridge -- how do you to make it warm?~Old topic

Do you warm the leftover canned food that has been in the fridge before feeding it to your dog? I used to microwave it for about 10 seconds so that they're not cold out of the fridge. But I heard that microwaving it makes the food loose some of the nutrients. How do you guys do it? feed it cold?

microwave or you can mix hot tap water with it to warm it up. that won't make it too hot.

I usually just feed it to them cold. They like it the same as if it was room temperature.

canned food is 75 percent water anyway, so it's not all that nutritious no matter whether its hot or cold. Dogs dont care if it'ss cold in my experience.

i microwave for about 20 seconds, i do this also with the steve's frozen cubes. works great and takes the chill off.

i just feed my cat cold canned food out of the fridge. you can microwave, but be sure to mix it to distribute any hot spots.
