looks to me like a "teacup" breeding to me. some fool decided to take the min pin and breed it down. min pins if the ears are not cropped can have fairly large ears. my first min pin had HUGE ears.... we nick named him oscar de la ears ( his name was oscar duh :p)
i will have to dig one out, we dont have him anymore he got really sick and passed away he had parvo on top of a few other things. my first "pet store" experiance- hey we all make mistakes right? he was adorable though, he was really little and had huge ears, he barely weighed 2 pounds at 4 mos. old
i had a mini pin with out cropped ears..and they were just like the one in the first pic...Actually I had 2...the male and female...They look like bat ears..and not what minpin breeders like to tell you the truth..they usually get them cropped fast...they do stand on thre own though..Mine looked like they couod take off with them...I sold the dogs btw, to a breeder in Virginia...and she breeds them for show and companions..Some she has are very tiny...im not into it myself..the mortality rate is so bad with the tiny ones..poor pooches.. Chimima/....dont keep looking for tiny dogs that will die on you...you have already been down that road..imo...look for a dog that has substance...something over 10 pounds..
Almost looks like a Min Pin/Chihuahua Cross?! Cute...very cute. Wonder how come you never see them outside of those 2 countries? Wow, I have never seen Miniature Pinschers that have ears un-cropped that stand up. I wanna see a PIC!
