I have a 9 month old chocolate lab we bought for $150, but I got her as a surprize from my family & really didn't want her. Now I'm trying to sell her but nobody will buy her. & I don't want to give her away cause I want to buy a west highland white terrier with the money I get from selling her. I need an idea how to sell her or should I just give her away? But I want her to have a good home also.

Free to a Good Home: A Death Sentence!
Unfortunately, "free" is too often seen as "worthless" in the eye of the beholder. This is how some people see your giveaway pet:
FREE money from the research lab FREE bait to train fighting dogs and greyhounds FREE snake food FREE sacrifice for satanic rituals FREE animal for malicious pranks FREE to a good home to breed indiscriminately FREE fish bait FREE animal to set on fire FREE animal to insert a firecracker into FREE to feed to reptiles
PLEASE don't offer your companions FREE to a good home unless you just don't care what happens to them. Volunteers who work endless hours to save pets from the horror of abuse and homelessness bring this message to you.

I think that it's sad that you're giving away one dog to get another. What if a westie isn't what you expected and you don't want her either? Are dogs just disposable pets for you? Keep the lab, and don't get another dog.
I love terriers! I had one but he got loose and got in the road and somebody hit hem.:( It was so sad! So my family got me a different dog that didn't think I would want a terrer cause of what happened before.
Lovin puppies lots, I want to find a GOOD home for her. I don't trade dogs like baseball cards. I want to sell her because most of my big dogs, have to stay outside, get ran over I want to find a good home before that happens.
I'm wondering why you no longer want her. What is the prolem with her? How long have you had her?
I agree with with ewhat Minnevar said. It is very sad that you basically want to "trade" her in for another dog. It's like getting a car ro a couch, and then deciding it wsn't what you wanted, but what's sad is that this dog isn't a car or a pieceor furniture and what if the other dog isn't what you expected either?
Harlee, I knowit sounds like I want to trade her but she's just not the right dog for me. She's weights 64 lbs. and jumps & barks. She needs a home with a pond cause she loves water and dumps all the water dishes. She also is to "ruff" to our 16 year old lab golden cross.
here! here!// donít get another anything alive if you don't have the ability to just love an animal because... The lab is now depending ON YOU for love and care... are you going to abandon it just because of appearance??!! Shame, shame!!
She is still a puppy what do you expect? All dogs jump and bark. My lab was the same way, but we went to a really good training acadamy. Maybe you should train he puppy to not jump, and correct her when she barks.
