After seeing various topics about dogster, I was reminded that my Brandi has a page of her own too! I never formally introduced her to you guys yet, other than the few questions here and there... so here's Brandi... my little pembroke welsh corgi baby.
Once I get off work today, I'll have to update the dogster page but let's see...
Ever since I was 10, I fell in love with dogs and desperately wished I owned one. I massed a collection of dog-related books and squealed in delight everytime I saw a furbaby pass me. However, my parents wanted nothing to do with them. Now... almost 10 years later, with me as a junior in college, my parents finally let me buy my dog within reason. We talked over our family lifestyle and decided a Corgi would suit us better than my #1 love in the world: Husky or Malamute. I actually got Brandi from TP and looking back on it, that was probably risky of me to do. I did spend weeks and weeks e-mailing and calling the breeder before deciding on getting Brandi... but overall, I'm grateful that it all worked out well and the baby I have is indeed what I was hoping for!
As for Brandi, I'd describe her as a hyperactive, ADD-ridden, furry baby on four legs. She spends half the day sleeping next to my mother, and by the time I come back from work she's prancing towards me like all hell's let loose. Within minutes, I'm covered with puppy kisses and Brandi slobber, it's hilarious! Her two favorite things in the world are food and playing. All her food supplies are stacked on a really high shelf, and if I even begin to reach towards there, she runs at me at full speed like a demon and sits there with her big puppy eyes. The little baby eats her food down in literally 20 seconds! Aside from her *real* food, she can be seen eating all sorts of other bad things ... like poo. *shakes head* Tsk!
My father spoils her rotten though, and half the time I find myself disciplining him more than her! Hope to hang around here for awhile, I've been reading the past posts and you guys give wonderful advice!
